La société FSCC S.à.r.l., fiduciaire basée à Belval, est actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) jeune diplômé(e) en comptabilité/finance afin de rejoindre son équipe.
Description
As junior accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the accounting for clients, from recording day-to-day transactions to preparing financial statements and annual accounts. On a daily basis, you will book and verify accounting documents, perform bank reconciliations, monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, and participate in periodic (montlhy and quarterly) closings. You will prepare tax and VAT returns, contribute to internal and external reporting, and respond to requests for information from clients or authorities, in coordination with the team. You will participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and ensure compliance with applicable local and international standards. This full-time position is based in Luxembourg, in a hybrid work environment combining in-office work with the option for partial remote work.
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent), with proven initial experience at a trust firm or in an accounting department;
- Good knowledge in general accounting principles and, ideally, standards applicable in Luxembourg; comfort with month-end closing procedures and the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting;
- Knowledge of various investment types, fund structures, securitisation vehicles and in Luxembourg accounting principles;
- Practical experience with BOB accounting software is mandatory;
- Knowledge of office applications and accounting software (Excel, ERP/accounting software), and the ability to work with databases and digital systems;
- Very Good Knowledge of BOB50;
- Excellent attention to details and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
