  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing furnace systems and related equipment.
  • Implement technical improvements to testing setups.
  • Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to provide feedback and assist in iterative system development.
  • Ensure all operations follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.
  • Maintain detailed test logs, equipment records, and documentation for traceability and reporting.

Ideal Profile

  • Technical background demonstrated through either:
    • Hands-on experience with industrial or laboratory equipment (ideally related to thermal processing, metallurgy, or high-temperature systems), or
    • A relevant technical degree such as BTS/DUT/BUT/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electromechanics, or Industrial Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Hands-on ability to build, modify, and maintain mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with test planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, hardware-focused environment with evolving systems.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented; able to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Ability to machine, using a manual and/or CNC mill and lathe are a plus.
  • Experience with CAD software is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of English required, including technical communication.
